A downloadable game

I'm one person in Alabama. I made a one-tap arcade game and put a real cash prize on it every week, and I'd like to know if it's any good.

Hoppers: tap to hop. Cross the roads, dodge the trains, ride the rocks across the lava.

That's the whole game — about ten seconds to learn.

(iOS and Android too, but nothing to install)

The contest, briefly: every week the top verified scores split a cash pool, and entering isn't a form — you stream your run and post the VOD.  That's the entry.

For streamers: https://hoppers.pagehub.io/streamers

If you stream it: does it hold up on stream — does chat get into it, or does it go quiet? Flat difficulty is deliberate, but "samey" is the risk and I can't judge that from my own screen.

Two honest caveats before anyone plays for money:

  • Prize money needs a US PayPal (18+). Outside the US you're very welcome to play, but you can't collect — better you know now than after you've streamed.

  • The game doesn't pause in the background. Take a call mid-run and your contest score caps where you left off.
